Not in our town

Watching that video in class yesterday just completley blew my mind. I have never heard of anyone saying anything bad about an enviornmentalist before, especially referring to them as "terrorists," and "Nazis." I consider myself an enviornmentalist and I definetly know now that I would never want to move to Montana! haha But anyways, on regards to John Stokes, I can't believe that guy. There is something wrong with someone who wants to stir up trouble in that way. I still can't believe he gave out names and addresses over the air. That should be illegal I think. Someone even said he told his listeners to go vandelize Keith (an enviornmentalists) house! *sigh* It's sad that this town couldn't seem to settle their differences. I see some valid points on both sides and I think that is they really sat down and talked about things, they could really understand the others' point of view.

You are right that both sides do have some valid points and it would be very hard to come to any rules and regulations that will totally satisfy everyone. It would be helpful though if they were better listeners because the way they are going, they are never going to work out their differences. I thought the part about the Native American woman moving away because her children were being picked on was the saddest part of all. Hopefully they can move somewhere a little more diverse so her kids won't feel so excluded.
